The Wonderful World of BTS Reaction Videos: Run BTS

Okay, let’s get back to the real fun stuff: BTS. As mentioned in a previous post, I am new to BTS and Army. So when I set foot on this new land, I spiraled into reaction videos. And proper spiraling can only happen with a loss of massive amounts of time fueled by a newfound obsession. I’m learning to temper myself, but man, it is fuckin’ fun. Here’s a BTS reaction video that made me nerd out on BTS even more. There are, of course, more and I’ll sprinkle them throughout this blog.

RUN BTS CHOREOGRAPHY

Elliott New Village reacts to ‘Run BTS’ choreography

Elliott New Village is a dancer with great insights into what it takes to execute a dance routine, and everyone knows that Run BTS is a challenging dance routine. He speaks about blocking in terms of how the member are revealed and likens it to magic tricks. He also speaks about the impressive backup dancers’ and their next-level contributions. He then breaks down the intricate textures from choreographer, Sienna Lalau, and how the choreography brilliantly showcases BTS. His genuine “DAAAAAMMNN” at 2:51 is how we all collectively gasped when we first saw (and we continue to be in awe of) the dazzling heel, toe and sweep steps. The best interjections come at different times throughout the video when he stops and says “Can we run it back again??” Yes. Yes. Yes.

Here’s the glorious, uninterrupted, original dance practice video:

Last thoughts: The drip on these men is :::chef’s kiss:::. Let’s just step back, appreciate, and give recognition to Dear Lord in Heaven for Min Yoongi. I mean, all of them, seriously. V with that fringed jacket and slouchy sweat/jeans!! J-Hope’s dope jersey, backwards cap–sweet Jesus in heaven. JungKook, who can make me go buy a track suit for what? I don’t know. Jin’s 77 jersey and what are his sneaks–New Balance or Balenciaga?! The bucket hat lowered on Namjoon’s eyes…so swag. And finally, whoa, that cut up sweatshirt with haircut on Jimin. When he moves, did I say :::chef’s kiss::: already? I mean, I can’t even with their style.

All this intricacy done in ONE SHOT!! I can only imagine how this was live in Busan’s Yet to Come concert.
